Care instructions
Caring for Your Memorial Jewellery
Your memorial jewellery has been crafted with care and filled with something precious. A little attention will help protect it and keep it looking beautiful for years to come.
Everyday Wear
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, washing dishes or cleaning. Salt, chlorine and other chemicals found in water can cause harm to the metal and resin over time.
Harsh chemicals can discolour the resin and loosen stones, so it is best to put your jewellery on after applying cosmetics, hairspray or perfume.
Heat and UV Light
Do not expose your jewellery to prolonged high temperatures, for example when sunbathing. It is also essential to avoid artificial UV light, including nail lamps and sunbeds, as this will affect the quality of the resin.
Leather Straps
Please note that leather bracelets are not resistant to water or perspiration. Remove them before exercise, bathing or sleeping to keep them in the best condition.
Storage
When not wearing your jewellery, store it in the pouch or presentation box provided. This protects it from scratches, dust and accidental damage.
A Gentle Reminder
Please always keep a small amount of ashes safely stored at home in case of loss or damage to your jewellery. We hope you never need them, but it is a sensible precaution that gives you peace of mind.
